Industrial pours and plant floors - heavier loads, harder wear and a different mix and thickness than anything on a residential property.

What you are looking at
Industrial slabs and floors built for equipment loads and sustained traffic.
Heavier than it looks
An industrial floor carries static equipment loads and moving loads at the same time, often over the same area, for years. That drives a thicker slab, different reinforcement and a different finish than a driveway or a garage floor.
Flatness and joints are functional
On a floor that equipment runs across, flatness and joint layout stop being cosmetic. Joints are placed where the slab will want to move, so it cracks where it was told to rather than where it chooses.
Industrial pours
An industrial pour. Heavier loads and harder wear mean a thicker slab and a different mix than a driveway.
