- Driveway extension: We stripped the grass and dirt, formed a 1,260 sq ft extension to the layout drawing the owner gave us, poured 18.5 yards of 3500 PSI and broom finished it. The spoil left the site in a 20-yard dumpster.
- A driveway that held water: We tore out a 23x16 driveway pad, regraded the section and poured it back two inches higher so water would stop sitting on it. A drain at the end of the driveway now runs to a pop-up drain out in the yard.
- Wider driveway, truck at the curb: Sixteen yards of 4000 PSI went in at 4 inches thick with two buggies, because the site would not take a truck. The finish was broomed to match the driveway already there, with saw cuts every 10 to 15 feet.
- Backyard patio with no truck access: A 13x26 patio, 4 inches thick and broom finished to match the patio beside it. The concrete came in by buggy, 10 tons of dirt went in to level the area, and 25 feet of corrugated pipe runs under the slab from the gutter to a pop-up drain.
- Stamped and broomed patio pads: 592 sq ft of pads at 4.5 inches with 4000 PSI. The main pad is stamped in an English slate pattern with no colour, the side pads are broom finished, and the owner kept a bucket of sealer for both.
- Hot tub pad and walkway: A 277 sq ft hot tub pad on a #4 rebar mat that steps down to a 3-foot walkway, with a thickened edge on the walkway side. We graded it with a rented Dingo.
- Sidewalk with curved corners: A 4x80 ft sidewalk set 2 inches above the lawn on levelled, compacted dirt, buggied in from the road, with picture-frame edges and a saw cut every 4 feet.
Four of those eight jobs went in by buggy because a mixer truck could not get to the pour, so a tight Easley backyard is not a reason to skip the estimate.
